Analytical Calculations
Sometimes traditional engineering calculations are sufficient to get the answer you need or to prove a point and often the quickest and least expensive solution. We regularly perform analysis for customers that requires anything from first principle calculations through to prescriptive calculations according to standards and codes. Topics covered are heat and mass transfer, thermodynamics, combustion, statics, stress analysis, dynamics and applied physics.
TesT Witnessing and Technical Reviews
AdamMechanica can provide independent third party witnessing of tests for product certification and provide test reports. We have RPEQ certification and can act for clients operating outside of Queensland but need certification for products and services sold in that state. We can act as a second pair of eyes to review your calculations, drawings and methods to uncover any design issues. We undertake reviews of imported products to meet local standards.
Simulation
We have extensive experience in computational methods: Finite element analysis (FEA) for simulating stress and vibration of structures such as pressure vessels, supporting structures and chassis. Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) for heat transfer and thermo-fluid behaviour in heat exchangers, burners, mixing devices, separators and open channel flow. AdamMechanica also has experience in electro-magnetic simulations of electro-statics, magnetic lenses and electron beams. All these methods are ideal for virtual prototyping and optimizing designs to maximize performance, eliminate unwanted designed-in costs and reduce risks.
